Background:
The Support Programme for Ukraine (SPU) has been established in order to continue to support the Ukrainian Government’s reform efforts, provide a platform for continued Ukrainian efforts in implementing OSCE commitments, and to mitigate the increased risks to civilians caused by the war against the country. It will be implemented through extra-budgetary project activities. The SPU is planned to run until July 2025.

This is a vacancy for the enlargement of roster for temporary driving services. Please note that the post is located in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer the incumbent performs the following duties:

Drives office vehicles for the purpose of taking office staff to and from meetings and duty trips; delivers and collects mail, documents, and other items.
Picks up and drops off staff and visitors at the airport.
Is responsible for the day-to-day repair/maintenance and cleanliness of office vehicles, e.g. gas, fluids, tires, brakes, transmission, electrical system, alarm/lock system, purchase of car spares and expendables.
Keeps a log of vehicle’s usage.
Ensures that the steps required by the rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Necessary Qualifications:
Secondary technical education or equivalent.
Valid and not endorsed license minimum B and C categories.
At least 4 years of professional driving experience with established awareness of security issues, preferably in an international environment.
Skills in vehicle and equipment repairment.
Excellent command of Ukrainian; knowledge of English will be an advantage.
Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, as well as ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities.
Ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.

Remuneration Package:
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is USD 965.00 as per the relevant OSCE salary scale; the salary payment is effected in EUR. Social benefits will include participation in Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. The Organization contributes an additional amount equivalent to 15% of the employee's salary to this pension-style fund while the employee contributes 7.5%. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale.
